- Babies 'R' Us (7001 Fayetteville Road, Durham, and 3501 Capital Blvd., Raleigh) has a
nice nursing and diaper changing room
- Crabtree Valley Mall (Raleigh) has great lounges
- Nordstrom's (Southpoint Mall, Durham) has comfortable
lounges in its restrooms that are good for nursing
- Northgate Mall (Durham) has a private family
bathroom off of the food court that is all set up for nursing
and kept clean. You just ask a security person in the food court
to unlock it.
- Penguins Cafe at Whole Foods Market (81 S. Elliott Road, Chapel Hill)
- Southpoint Mall (Durham) has a great family
bathroom area (across from the food court on the 2nd level and close to the
play area), which has two private nursing rooms, each with its own couch, sink,
and long counter top.
- Target (4037 Durham Chapel Hill Blvd. and 8210 Renaissance Pkwy., Durham)
- Weaver Street Market (101 E. Weaver Street, Carrboro). Good spot near fountain, under tree.
