  • Chapel Hill Community Center Park (120 S Estes Drive, Chapel Hill)
  • Coker Arboretum, UNC Chapel Hill (off Raleigh Street, Chapel Hill)
  • Falls Lake State Recreation Area
  • Sarah P. Duke Gardens (parking lot entrance on Anderson Street, Durham). Bring bread for the ducks and geese
  • Homestead Park (100 Northern Park Drive, off Homestead Road, Chapel Hill)
  • Jordan Lake State Recreation Area
  • NC Botanical Garden (Old Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill)
  • Regency Park (Regency Parkway, Cary)
  • Umstead Park (Umstead Road between MLK Jr Blvd & Estes Drive Ext)
  • UNC's campus, by Silent Sam (just off 100 block of Franklin Street, Chapel Hill)
  • West Point on the Eno Park (5101 N Roxboro Road [US Hwy 501 North], Durham)
